Our Team
Chris Burns (LinkedIn) founded Pickl in 2024 after a decade of legal and title-driven real estate investing in Washington, D.C. Today, Chris works with heirs and property owners across Texas, the DMV, and beyond realize their equity with properties that are affected by title issues, fractured ownership, or complexities. Chris leads the company’s acquisitions and uses his skills as a licensed private investigator (DC #PAI40000043) to help the Pickl team crack the most difficult cases.
Prior to Pickl, Chris participated in over 500 transactions nationwide as a Realtor®, developer, and multifamily operator. Much of his experience include transactions subject to Washington D.C.’s complex TOPA law, allowing him to work directly with tenants to secure their rights of first refusal for their homes.
Brandon Lentz has been working in lien resolution and title examination since 2018, developing a fluency in tracing ownership, navigating probate, and identifying title defects. Brandon works with heirs and owners nationwide to resolve clouded titles on the properties Pickl acquires. He excels at finding elegant solutions where others see only obstacles.
Hayden Thomas has been finding missing heirs since long before he began working with Pickl in 2026. Based in Central Texas, he specializes in heirship research, probate curative, and the kind of patient, honest communication that keeps a difficult file moving toward closing. Hayden believes the best outcomes are the ones where every party walks away a winner.
Oscar Santos has been with Pickl since 2024 and is often the first point of contact for owners and heirs that engage our company. Oscar takes leads with our spanish-speaking heirs and sellers and he has a passion for being a resource and providing assistance with complicated title situations. A college student by day, Oscar is a valuable up and coming talent within our organization!
